It's always interesting to find out how the concept of a new book comes about.  In this case, Moniek Vanden Berghe was given the challenge of creating several heart-shaped designs and the results were so well received, that she decided to explore the concept further.  This resulted in not only bridal bouquets but sympathy designs, corporate arrangements and body decor too.  Moniek's use of colour is well known and this she uses beautifully in all of the designs in the book.  She may have had a certain reluctance to undertake the original challenge, but it is clearly one that she embraced once she got into her stride because this little book will certainly inspire designers all around the world.
