FCH launches the GIVE campaign
The Flower Council of Holland has launched the GIVE campaign in the UK and Europe
The
beginning of November sees the launch of the Flower Council of Holland’s GIVE flowers campaign in the UK, Germany,
France and Holland.
Running
until February 2012, the GIVE campaign
will stretch over 100 days and focuses on the joy that giving flowers brings
both for the giver and the recipient, and especially so far as the UK is concerned
when you give yourself some flowers!
To
reinforce the point, a central part of the campaign will be that every one of
the 100 days, 10 lucky visitors to www.funnyhowflowersdothat.co.uk
will win a free bouquet.
Funny how
flowers do that
Visitors
to the www.funnyhowflowersdothat.co.uk
website will find a plethora of different reasons and occasions to give
flowers. The reasons will change on a daily basis.
They
could be practical, emotional, symbolic or simply ‘just because’. There again,
reasons to give flowers can be as a diverse as gesture of friendship, a
statement of love, a reaction to appreciation, or simply as a response to
current events.
In
order to win one of the free bouquets, visitors to the site will need to either
text or upload a picture that highlights why the reason for that day matches
the person who deserves the beautiful bouquet.
Substantial advertising support
The
campaign will receive substantial advertising and promotional support, centred
around social networks and new media. There is also a significant investment in
consumer facing PR, both opportunistic and placed, to reach the target audience
of principally 30 to 50 year old women.
