Issue 60 of Fusion Flowers magazine, released on the 18^th May 2011 is our early summer edition and it’s just packed with design ideas and stories guaranteed to inspire you!

We welcome three new designers to the team - Björn Kroner who represented Germany at the Interflora World Cup in Shanghai, China and came fifth; Jodi Duncan AIFD an exciting event designer from America and from Belgium, Baudouin Roelants, an extraordinary talent who has lots of very original ideas to share.

This issue is literally packed with reports and designs to inspire readers. From Denmark we report on the National Floristry Competitions and fom Germany we not only look at several Russian design concepts but at some new ideas and materials that are being used in Sympathy designs. After a trip to Helsinki, we share some of the designs we saw at the Finnish National Floristry Competitions. We also begin a new series of articles that explain the techniques and mechanics used in contemporary floral design.

Life3, Per Benjamin, Sweden, Max van den Sluis, The Netherlands and Tomas De Bruyne, Belgium,are back with their latest book, Creativity with Flowers - Plant Arrangements and readers get a preview of some of their exciting designs.
