Sue Phillips tells the story of how a simple ‘phone call from her floral design friend, Mig Kimpton, resulted in her becoming involved in the decoration of a small but beautiful little church in London.
Having lost several close friends to cancer, Mig decided that he would try to organise something to raise funds for the charity that had helped them through their darkest hours. To do this he called on well known London based florists, floral designers, celebrities and – a team from Fusion Flowers magazine who aren’t based in London!
The team came together to contribute their own, individual talents in their own individual ways and the result was a stunning exhibition, demonstration and Open House event. Sue reveals the thought processes behind her own work and exactly how she went about creating a truly wonderful design dedicated to books.
