The latest trends from Belgian trade shows…

A very cold, wet and dismal day found our editor in correspondence with internationally renowned Belgian designer Moniek Vanden Berghe.  During the course of several emails, Moniek asked if Fusion Flowers reporters were going to attend some of the forthcoming Belgian trade shows.  So began an exciting foray into the world of designer containers, stands, glassware and arrangements which ended up not only as a lead story in Issue 47 but as the main feature of Brain Floss!

Moniek in conjunction with Serax has produced an amazing range of containers and accessories for contemporary floral designers.  The editor was so impressed that later this year, she’s going to fly out to the factory to find out more!  

However, there were lots of other things to see including a range of designs by various well-known Belgian florists using the freeze dried products from Avalane.  There was so much to see and so many ideas to inspire that the editor decided readers would love to see some of the containers in action.  So in Issue 47, you can find inspiring containers and relatively simple ideas to create designer looks.
