Danish Pot Plants at their best! |
Inspirational ideas to present plants…
 Jens Poulsen makes a welcome return to Fusion Flowers with a report from Denmark on a remarkable exhibition. Flower stylist Birgit Nouri who is renowned for her work which involves the combination of items collected from the surrounding countryside with retail flowers, accepted the challenge to design an exhibition using – pot plants. The challenge came from FAIRYTALE FLOWERS® one of the largest producers of Campanula, Schlumbergera and Lavender plants in Europe.
We have previously covered another FAIRYTALE FLOWERS® event which took place in Essen, Germany where they invited an international florist to present pot plants in a live demonstration in front of a mixed audience of the press and the general public. This was a hugely successful marketing strategy attracting attention from all over Europe.
We are often asked how to improve the presentation of pot plants and this article certainly proves just how exciting and long-lasting these designs can be. Given the current global financial situation, these concepts would be ideal for those involved in the corporate marketplace where money is tight! However, some of the work should inspire those designers who have a competitive streak or are involved in interior or garden design.
Clearly Birgit relished the challenge and we are sure that you’ll find that her ideas will make you look at the use of pot plants in design in a new light.
