Spirit of the Rose team Annie Beagent and David Lloyd take us to Biddulph Grange to report on how floral designer Barry Grey and his team coped with decorating a National Trust garden.

On a previous visit to Biddulph Grange we had reported on the diverse nature of the gardens but when we heard that British designer, Barry Grey had agreed to decorate the garden with flowers - we just had to return!

Annie Beagent reported on the transformation that took place with award-winning photographer David Lloyd giving readers some wonderful images of the resulting arrangements and settings.  Barry?s vision "To Gild the Lily" was most definitely a challenge but one that, with the huge skill of his team and the full support of the National Trust staff, he embraced. The result was a unique flower festival in a very special garden.
