In a time of grief who better to express feelings through flowers than the talented Moniek Vanden Berghe of Belgium
The subject of tribute flowers is a tricky one. Certainly as far as
the rest of Europe is concerned, this is a very large market but in
recent years there’s been a down turn in sales in the UK. There are
those that attribute this to requests by relatives for mourners to
donate money to charities rather than spending it on flowers. However,
more research proves that although this is certainly the case, many
mourners feel that it’s actually the lack of personal statements in
tribute flowers that puts them off. This should never be the case.
Moniek Vanden Berghe is perhaps best known for her two previous
volumes, Flowers in Love and Flowers in Love 2, but in her latest book,
Flowers in Tears, readers can once again see the difference in the work
of someone who has true class. Moniek’s tribute work is simply
superb. Here is a florist who clearly cares about what she is creating
and who has the vision and talent to convey a message just through her
designs. If only the public could see more work like this we are
certain that there would be an increase in sales.
In an extract from the book in Issue 43 of Fusion Flowers
magazine, readers will see for themselves just how beautiful her work
is. Truth to be told – this is what I’d want on my coffin.
Flowers in Tears is now available through Fusion Flowers Book Club and online at www.fusionflowers.com
