Welcome to the Fusion Flowers website!

My name is Alison Bradley and I am the editor of Fusion Flowers and Fusion Flowers - Weddings magazines both of which are dedicated to supporting and encouraging floral designers and flower arrangers around the world in trying out new ideas.

We're just back from the Chelsea Flower Show complete with sore backs (from carrying too much camera ecquipment and travelling overnight in a British Rail so-called sleeper!). The gardens were as ever beautifully executed but where was the colour and even more worrying - where were the florists? This year the RHS decided to stand down from their normal floristry competitions in favour of displays/demonstrations by several London based florists.

We didn't see the demonstrations but we did see some of the work and - well - I wasn't very excited. So please, please, please - let's have the floristry competitions back in 2009. Actually - even Chelsea 2009 is in doubt because of planning regulations - so we will wait and see the outcome. But don't worry - we'll keep you in touch.

The good news is that there were lots of other stories for us to cover including some gorgeous new flowers which will feature in future issues of Fusion Flowers magazine.

Oh and - just to let you know - Fusion Flowers - Weddings 3 is currently being printed so those of you that have ordered your annual bridal treat should have it very, very soon. Those lucky people who have had a preview are already raving about it so, as usual, you can expect something very different for the bridal season ahead.

Later this year we plan to open a section where you can upload images of your work free of charge and the Fusion Flowers team will then give you feedback on your designs.
