Fusion Flowers Magazine

The Hortifair Trade Show in Amsterdam is always a must for Fusion Flowers to see future trends not only in cut flowers and plants but also in presentation and packaging.  In Issue 40 we have our first report from the show featuring some amazing room dividers created by Italian designers Luciana Galletta and Emilio Lorusso.  Room dividers were also in evidence on the Carmel stand together with plate settings and highly original garlands using tiny pieces of dried, bleached Salix, 'Uri Geller' style bent spoons and forks combined with mini starfish.  The overall effect was startling and different.

We also report on the move towards using add on marketing in shops together with an attempt towards directing customers to specific flowers which are ideal for dinner parties, scent, texture or messages.

OASIS® Floral Products had lots of exciting ideas on their stand and all of the designs in evidence there were created by Belgian floristry superstar Moniek Vanden Berghe.  That's where we found their latest product OASIS® pebbles which we are delighted to announce will be available in the UK later this year.

There is always too much happening at Hortifair for us to cover it in one issue, so next time we take you on a visit to the House of Plants and Flowers where their wonderful ideas had the international Press Corps gasping in excitement.
