When it was first published Flowers in Love (I) was a ground-breaking little book which rocked the floristry world with its gorgeous contemporary ideas for weddings. The much heralded follow up, Flowers in Love II, has just reached my desk. To be honest, I thought it would be difficult for Moniek, extremely talented and charming lady though she may be, to follow the success of the first volume, how wrong can you be?! She's done it again! Flowers
in Love II is quite simply superb!
This time around Moniek has elected to show her designs seasonally and
the work ranges from bouquets, corsages, boutonnière, table décor, hair
décor, car decoration, church decoration and all done with exquisite
attention to detail and beautiful use of colour. If the first book made
Moniek an international name to be reckoned with - her latest will turn
her into a legend!
We cannot recommend this book to you enough - it's simply a must and
interestingly has ideas that you could easily adapt for large scale
designs. There are, however, no instructions but full botanical
information is given. The photography by Kurt Dekeyzer is more
consistent and of a higher standard than in the first book.
