 New Zealand's Rhonda Hall makes a welcome return in Issue 37 with her report on a fabulous stage performance by Tomoki Uchiyama at the 2007 Floral Art New Zealand Conference.Uchiyama's work was spectacular and photographer John Daley managed to capture the artistry and stagecraft in his images from the performance. In her report, Rhonda explains in detail the concept of the demonstration and some of the techniques that were used to create the arrangements, all of which involved the use of paper! We are extremely grateful that FASNZ gave permission for us to feature this work so that our readers could learn and be inspired by a true Japanese Master at work. |
