In a breakthrough new book French designers Muriel Le Couls and Gil Boyard, in conjunction with photographer Patrick Sordoilllet, have produced an inspiring and stunning collection of designs. It is sadly a rare event that finds designers who are prepared to share many of their techniques with readers but Structures floral art is the exception to the rule. In Issue 36 we have an excerpt from this excellent little book which should whet the appetite of many of our readers. There are designs suitable for table arrangements, interiors, pedestals and more and all are revealed in the book together with the techniques and various options for each concept. The result is a refreshing and inspirational compendium of ideas. We see a lot of books in Fusion Flowers but because we are very selective, few make it on to our Book Club listings. On the other hand, it is so exciting for us to find something like this and we know it will become a handbook for many designers around the world. |
