In the title of her book, Nicole von Boleztky gives a fair indication as to what we should expect and yet, for me, the strength of the book is what has now become known as classical European Christmas design. At first sight much of the work may appear to be very simple in nature with the use of candles in various forms in evidence; but it is only as you really study it that the true excellence of her work emerges.
Clearly this is a woman who couldn't care less about trends and fashions but chooses instead to follow her own vision of beauty. This book will inspire many to take a fresh look at Christmas design, but, be under no illusion because work finished to such perfection is at Master level.
Produced in full colour the book was published in 2000 by Stichting Kunstboek with text in Dutch, English, German and French (124 pages Hardcove).
