One Colour Bouquets - 120 pages Hardback Written in English Published in 2007 by Stichting Kunstboek Photography by Joris Luyten (Belgium), Mike Nicolson (UK) and Willem Kuipers (The Netherlands)

This is the latest in a series of small, affordable books by the publishing house Stichting Kunstboek. This book features bouquets by Kristof De Waele (Belgium), David Ragg (UK) and Gary Leon (The Netherlands) using one colour only in each bouquet. These three designers are highly experienced in all aspects of floristry. Nearly all of the 60 designs featured use a particular technique eg binding, folding, knotting, weaving etc and the chapters have been neatly subdivided into colour related sections. Interestingly, word associations related to the colours are defined at the beginning of each chapter and this information could certainly be useful to many.

This little book could certainly give inspiration to those who carry out commercial, corporate arrangements as several of the bouquets are ideally suited for that type of work. The book is bright, colourful and would certainly inspire those starting out, through to those at intermediate level. It just would have been nice to know which designer did which bouquet - perhaps they?ll let us know next time!
