We have included the new range of twisted wires in Marketplace because of Muriel Simpson's article on wire jewellery in Issue 38 where she used the blue/turquoise wire to such effect. The wire is effectively two colours of tightly twisted decor wire which produces an effective and strong overall finish which could not be achieved by hand. The clever use of two colours gives a very 'different' look to the wire and this can be used for jewellery, wedding work or binding. Twisted wire is available in blue/turquoise, orange/olive and silver/pink colourways.
Muriel is also preparing another item using this wire for decorative additions planned for Valentine's Day.
