Fusion Flowers Issue 40 - Feb/Mar 2008

We kick off 2008 with Issue 40 of Fusion Flowers magazine released on the 18th January 2008 packed with ideas for Valentine's Day and the season ahead.

New to Fusion Flowers is Australian designer Gail Anderson with two ideas for Valentine's Day one of which using plant manipulation and from Singapore Damien Koh explains how to create a very unusual table concept also by manipulating foliage - but in a very different way!  In an amazing six page extract from his forthcoming book Germany's Gregor Lersch reveals for the first time the techniques behind his amazing work.  Also new to Fusion Flowers magazine is Canada's Donald Yim who shows you how he likes to bring some fusion to his own work plus there are lots of ideas from the Fusion Flowers team.

In the first report from Hortifair 2007, we take a look at room dividers created by two Italian designers, new concepts from Carmel and new bouquet presentations using natural plant material.

Niels van Hemert reports from the Azores on a special project that involved Pandora's Box with former Interflora World Champion Per Benjamin.  In our third report from the AIFD Symposium we cover the work of Young-Ju (Julia) Kim AIFD an amazing Korean designer together with images of the demonstration by Life3 (Per Benjamin, Max van de Sluis & Tomas De Bruyne)
